NGO: Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS)
Yogoda Satsanga Society (YSS) of India is a social service organization that runs several programs throughout India in the areas of education, medicine, and disaster rehabilitation. YSS operates more than 20 educational institutions and 30 charitable medical dispensaries focused on free homoeopathic and allopathic medical care. These institutions are primarily centered in the tribal and economically disadvantaged rural areas of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Maharashtra, Orissa, and Uttaranchal.

- Details: IDRF has made significant contributions to Yogoda Satsanga Society’s corpus fund, which is used for the running of educational institutions, awarding scholarships to deserving but economically disadvantaged students. IDRF grants have also provided financial support to nearly 750 students annually, and have enabled YSS to take advantage of various similar government initiatives.
